Welcome to Help Me Afford College!

College…it is coming at you fast and getting more expensive each day. Where should a family start? When should you begin? How important is your ACT/SAT Score? How will you afford $100,000 for a 4-year degree? If you’re like most families, these questions have crossed your mind more than once, usually to be pushed aside to something more pressing. The question you really should be asking yourself is What Can I Do About It Now?

The first thing is to understand college is a process. There are many things a family can do to save tens of thousands of dollars on college costs, if they just understood the process. The key is to start early. We suggest starting the process sometime in 8th grade – freshman year of high school. Starting early is key because you are dealing with the 2 most emotional things in your life, your children and money. It is critical that you understand what type family you are in relationship to this process and to spend your time, energy and resources going after help that makes sense to your specific family’s needs. You also must have a goal. Your goal should be to send your student to the college of their dreams without going broke in the process. You are trying to find universities that make sense academically and socially to the student but also financial sense for the parents. After all, no matter how badly your student wants to go somewhere for college, if you cannot afford it, or don’t know how to pay for college, they will not be able to go.

How you navigate the process will determine on how much money it costs to send your children to college. If done correctly, you do not have to go broke to send your children to college. People everyday, just like you have taken control of the situation and realized there has to be a better way. College is too expensive to leave this to chance. This website and our company is dedicated to helping any family make this process easier. We help shape futures, we give your students direction, and we save families money. We do this each and everyday. It is our passion. It is our purpose. When you are ready, we are here to help. All you have to do is ask.

Sincerely,
